Terms of Service

Better ("the app") is developed and provided by Beijing Bayesian Hunter Technology Co., Ltd. ("we"). By downloading, installing, or using the app, you confirm that you have read and accepted these terms. If you do not agree with any part of them, please do not use the app.

Licence

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to install and use the app on devices you lawfully own or control, for personal, non-commercial purposes.

Outside that scope, please do not:

• reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to obtain the source code
• copy, rent, sell, sublicense the app, or create derivative products
• use scripts or automated tools to access our services in bulk

Your account

Using the app requires an account. Please provide accurate information and keep your account secure. Activity under your account is your responsibility. If you find someone else using it, contact us immediately.

You can delete your account from inside the app at any time. Once deleted, the data tied to that account is removed and cannot be recovered.

What you record is yours

The training data, notes, routines, and body measurements you record in the app belong to you. We store and process them solely to provide the service to you.

The app itself — its interface, icons, text, code, and design — belongs to us and is protected by applicable law.

Subscriptions

Core logging and statistics are free. Better Pro is a paid subscription that unlocks additional capacity.

• Subscriptions are purchased and managed through the Apple App Store, at whatever price the App Store shows at the time of purchase
• Auto-renewing subscriptions are charged before the current period ends unless cancelled beforehand
• Cancellation, refunds, and renewal management happen in your device's App Store account settings
• Family membership works through Apple Family Sharing, subject to Apple's own rules

Subscriptions are also subject to Apple's Standard End User Licence Agreement.

Health notice

The app is a training log. It is not a medical device and does not provide medical advice. Its data, statistics, and any suggestions are for reference only and are no substitute for a qualified professional's judgement.

Whether to perform a given exercise, and at what load, is your decision and your risk. If you have an injury or any health concern, consult a doctor or a qualified coach first.

Availability

We work to keep the service stable but do not promise uninterrupted availability. We are not liable for indirect losses arising from interruptions caused by maintenance, upgrades, network failures, or force majeure.

We may adjust, suspend, or discontinue parts of the service. For significant changes we will give notice in the app beforehand.

Limits of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses arising from using or being unable to use the app. This does not exclude liability that the law does not permit us to exclude.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. Continuing to use the app means you accept the updated version.
